This summer I had the privilege of conducting the one-day Lycoming County Junior High School Band Festival with over 100 middle schoolers.

I was originally asked to do so in Spring 2020. We managed to get one evening rehearsal in before everything closed due to COVID. Gratefully, the Lycoming County directors asked me to return and try again.

Despite rehearsing outside in a tent on a 90-something degree day, the students rehearsed and performed beautifully. I was so proud of what they accomplished in a single (very warm) day. (The experience was a tremendous source of joy for me!) Congrats to the middle school band students and directors of Lycoming County!
